Rivers in the Desert
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

God specializes in impossibility. Wilderness becomes pathway. Wasteland becomes water source. But notice the question: do you not perceive it? Sometimes we miss the miracle because we are looking for what we expected instead of what God is actually doing. The new thing springs up in the middle of barren ground. Are your eyes trained to see only what was, or are they open to what God is making new? Even now. Especially now.
What new thing might God be doing that I am failing to perceive?
Ask God today: "Open my eyes to the new thing You are doing." Watch for unexpected streams.
