Standing Steady Without Holding Tension
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast.”
—
Steadiness does not require tension.
Many people equate staying aligned with holding themselves tightly. They brace. They monitor. They guard constantly. Scripture offers a different image. Peace comes from steadiness, not strain.
A steadfast mind is not rigid. It is settled. It knows where it belongs. It returns easily to center when distracted. This steadiness creates peace rather than pressure.
Jesus remained steady even as circumstances shifted. His peace was not dependent on control. It flowed from trust and clarity.
Standing steady without holding tension means you release the need to manage every variable. You remain attentive, but not anxious. Engaged, but not braced.
April has trained this posture carefully. You are not trying to hold everything together. You are standing on what has already been aligned.
This is quiet confidence at rest.
Where might I still be holding tension instead of trusting steadiness?
Notice one place in your body or mind today where you can release unnecessary tension.
Speak This Truth
“I stand steady in peace and trust. Alignment holds me without strain.”
