Grateful for the Strength That Stayed

Psalm 136:1

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

NIV

Some gratitude is quiet.

It does not rise from excitement or breakthrough. It comes from noticing what held. The strength that did not collapse. The clarity that did not fade. The commitment that remained when attention moved elsewhere.

As May begins to close, gratitude is less about celebration and more about recognition. Recognition that you stayed present. That you did not abandon what mattered. That endurance took shape not through force, but through steadiness.

Scripture returns again and again to enduring love. Not love that appears briefly, but love that remains. This kind of endurance mirrors faithfulness. It stays. It holds. It carries forward.

Jesus lived from this awareness. He recognized sustaining grace even as He continued to give. Gratitude kept His engagement rooted in trust rather than obligation.

Being grateful for the strength that stayed helps you integrate this season honestly. You stop measuring yourself only by what you accomplished and begin honoring what you preserved. Presence. Integrity. Alignment.

This gratitude does not inflate the past. It grounds the future.

You do not need to manufacture thankfulness. Simply notice what endured.
