Letting the Month End Without Replay
“But this one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.”
—
The mind loves to replay. The should-haves. The missed moments. The regrets. But Paul offers another way—forgetting what's behind and leaning into what's ahead. This doesn't mean denial. It means refusing to let the past become a loop. You can acknowledge what happened, learn from it, and still release it. Let this month close without a mental highlight reel of failure. Let it close in grace.
Am I mentally replaying what I wish I had done differently—or releasing it to God?
Name one mental replay that's been haunting you. Say out loud: "I release this. I lean forward."
Speak This Truth
“I am not bound by what's behind. I am pulled forward by grace.”
