Open Without Needing an Outcome
Proverbs 16:3
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
—
NRSV
Some seasons end without closure. The conversation remains unresolved. The prayer remains unanswered. The plan remains unfinished. And still, you are invited to remain open. Today's verse is not a guarantee that your work will succeed—it's an invitation to release your work into God's hands. Commitment isn't control. It's trust. Let your openness outlast your need for outcome.
Ponder This
Can I remain spiritually open even when I haven't received closure?
Today's Practice
Name one thing you're still waiting on. Say: "I commit this to You. I stay open without controlling."
Speak This Truth
“I commit my work to God. I stay open without needing to know the outcome.”
